Process Server Certification - General information.

Initial Certification - requirements, fees, and things to send in when you are first making application to become a Certified Process Server.

Renewals - requirements and fees for renewing your Certification through the JBCC. Certifications for process servers are good for 2 years, which means that All new certifications issued will likewise be on a 2-year certification cycle. Renewal fees every two years are $200.

Continuing Education - to maintain your certification, you must complete 8-hours of continuing education each 2-year cycle, which includes 2-hours of Ethics. This site offers 1 8hr course that has been approved, but it has NO ETHICS component. We have submitted 3 courses for approval: a 2-hour Ethics Course; a 6-hour Course covering Rules, Statutes, and Codes; and an 8-hour course that combines the 6-hour studies with a 2-hour Ethics component.

"Continuing education requirements may change. Updated information will be posted on the JBCC website."
