Texas Process Servers Academy

PRIVACY POLICY

#

What information do we collect?
We collect a limited amount of personal information from you when you enroll in the course. We do not collect your Social Security number, but we do require you to provide your Supreme Court Certification number, your Texas driver's license number, and your date of birth.

What is the information used for?
Most of the information you provide is plugged into our secure database to create ‘security questions’ that appear randomly throughout the course and the testing process. Correct answers to these questions help verify that it is you, and not someone else acting in your absence, who is taking the course. These security questions help ensure the integrity of the course. We also use your personal information to confirm your identity when you enroll, to verify that you are entitled to take the course, to provide to the JBCC as proof that you successfully completed the course, and to help us identify you now and when you return to complete the course, or at any time in the future when you return for renewal of your certification.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
The information we gather from you at enrollment is for internal purposes only. It is not released to anyone. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. However, such information may be made available to state or federal government agencies to comply with state laws, and to the Supreme Court of Texas to comply with any relevant legal requirements for your certification.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. This ensures that your information is not readily accessible to unauthorized persons.

Credit Cards and Payment Information
Texas Process Servers Academy does not directly accept payments for course tuition, so we do not collect any sensitive credit card information. All monetary transactions are handled through third-party vendors, including PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, Venmo and Square through their secured servers. We will not have access to any of that information, so will not be saving it for future use.
